The strategy of CTA Concept Funds Limited is to invest in Managed Accounts. Direct allocations through Managed Accounts are of advantage as the Fund‘s Management retains full control of the invested capital and counterparty risk can thus be minimized. Through daily controlling of the activities of the different CTAs full transparency on position level is guaranteed. This allows the Fund‘s Management to react quickly should the CTA not trade within the individually set parameters. In specific cases, the Funds may invest directly in Single-Manager Funds of selected CTAs. This makes sense if the minimum capital requirements for a Management Account is too high or if the Single-Manager Fund offers a better return/risk ratio compared to an investment in the Managed Account.

The structure of the Funds of CTA Concept Funds Limited is relatively lean and grants a high liquidity of the assets. This is an important advantage compared to complicated Fund-of-Fund structures or allocations in other Alternative Investment Classes, i.e. properties or private equity.
